The kind offer of a lolly to my daughter while we decided again to go for a Vegetable Balti, Peshwari Naan and a quartet of popadoms was just one example. Always courteous and service with a smile to the many customers who came in to collect pre-ordered curries while we waited for ours to be prepared.

Curry to go

As we waited, loads of customers came in to collect their telephoned orders, we looked at the reading material. Wellington News July 2004 and a Lyreco Office Supplies catalogue. Luckily they also had a copy of the latest Shropshire Star and a TV.

Open Kitchen

We could also see the chefs preparing our food in the open kitchen. The bill came to just £8, and those of you who are familiar with the Royal Balti will know that that meal is plenty enough for two. Vegetable Biriyani (VB) consists of the biriyani bit, which is a portion of rice, and the vegetable curry sauce. Ten minutes after ordering, we returned home to tuck in. As expected, the tasty VB delighted us. The sweet sticky peshwari naan serving to mop up the VB left on the plate. Couldn't eat the popadoms, we were too full!

Nice Meal

All in all, a nice meal, great service and a good price. We'll be back.
