We chatted to Mike Richardson and Sylvi Greenfield of Network Singles Ltd about the business of helping single people meet each other and make new friends.

Not a Shropshire Dating Agency!

Before starting Network Singles Ltd, Sylvi Greenfield felt "single in a world of couples"; wanted to get out and do so many things but had no-one to go with. She didn’t want a dating agency, so Sylvi decided to start her own social events club based in Shropshire so that she and members of Network Singles could achieve the social life of their dreams with a great crowd of local, like-minded people. Fourteen years on, many hundreds of people have enjoyed a social life improved by the variety, quantity and quality of events offered by Network, which currently has around 300 members with monthly programmes offering a choice of over 30 events.

Network Singles: Something for everyone in Shropshire

Would you enjoy dining in local restaurants, chatting and getting to know your new friends, sharing country walks in our beautiful countryside? How about the chance to go out to the theatre or concerts - there's so much on! Why don't you try our ten-pin bowling, skittles, or pub nights? Members open their homes for supper evenings, games evenings, quizzes and parties. There's also occasionally riding, quad biking, karting, microlighting, whitewater rafting - in fact, something for everyone single in Shropshire.
