They are a combination of a screw or bolt with a built in washer or set of washers. We have the ability to make almost any type of washer and screw combination to your specification.
The technology has been around for about 50 years and the product has brought benefits to assembly lines the world over.
Sems are being used to make product assembly more cost effective in many industries including automotive and micro electronics.
The majority of our business is made to order bespoke Sems. We do hold a limited amount of standard sizes in stock. We are able to manufacture sems to British Standard (BS), European Standard (DIN) and Japanese Standard (JIS).
We mainly manufacture sems between M12 down to M1.6 in quantities from 10k upwards. Don’t forget that we offer technical & design help if you have a particular application in mind.
