Shropshire; Full of History
From the discovery of the Shropshire Prehistoric Mammoth to the Second World War, Shropshire is a county full of secrets. Probably best known as the Birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, Ironbridge is the jewel in the crown, but by no means the only one.
Wroxeter Roman City
An preserved Roman city which is often featured on TV (Simon Sharma History of Britain) lies just off the A5 between Telford and Shrewsbury. Working vineyard with shop nearby well worth a detour!
